*Brian moved into one of our services recently, transitioning from his long-term shared placement. There were initial uncertainties about how Brian would adjust to such a significant change, but he has embraced his new home with enthusiasm and a sense of independence.
Since his arrival, Brian celebrated his birthday with a party arranged by our friendly colleagues, which he thoroughly enjoyed, especially having his family visit—a highlight he looks forward to. Known for his delightful sense of humour, Brian keeps everyone entertained with his jokes and infectious laughter, and creates strong connections with other people we support.
Brian is an active member of the community, often going out into the local village for lunch and exploring local cafes and bakeries on the bus – where he loves looking through charity shops. His vibrant personality has brought a new energy to our service, which he livens up!
As well as these trips out, Brian is working on his daily living skills, particularly enjoying his time in the kitchen and maintaining a spotless bedroom, reflecting his pride in his appearance.
Brian’s positive start aligns with ivolve’s approach of encouraging independence and happiness among the people we support. We look forward to sharing more laughter and joy with Brian in the days ahead!
