A lively residential care home for flourishing lives

Where confidence grows through community, routine and shared moments.
Set on Belle Vue Road, just a short walk from Wakefield city centre, Agbrigg is a welcoming eight-bed home designed for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs. Life here is sociable, active and full of everyday moments that matter – from baking together in the kitchen to movie nights in the lounge or days spent gardening, playing games and enjoying the outdoors.
Inside, the home offers two bright lounges, a sociable dining space and comfortable communal bathrooms, creating a setting that feels relaxed and familiar. Outside, a generous patio opens onto a playing field, perfect for summer get-togethers and fresh-air activities.
Agbrigg also has access to four self-contained apartments on the same site, offering a natural next step for those ready to build greater independence, with their own separate entrance while remaining close to familiar faces and surroundings.
Guided by our Strive model of support, people are encouraged to build skills, confidence and independence at a pace that feels right. For many, Agbrigg has been a positive stepping stone towards greater independence and future supported living.
