Families and professionals provided overwhelmingly positive feedback, affirming that individuals at Florence House feel safe, respected, and included in decisions about their care, fostering a sense of autonomy and empowerment.

The CQC further commended our efforts in reducing incidents, managing medicines effectively, and maintaining robust, adaptable care plans. Regular audits and team meetings ensure a responsive and well-led service, creating a supportive environment where individuals can flourish. We focus on developing independent living skills through the use of our shared spaces, such as the kitchen and utility room, and offer a range of meaningful activities, from recreational outings to educational projects. Located just minutes from Blackburn town centre, Florence House benefits from excellent transport links, allowing residents easy access to the wider community.
