Flanshaw is a friendly and nurturing residential home in Wakefield, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. It’s a calm, structured and welcoming place where people are encouraged to live life their way.
The home features six ensuite bedrooms, two bright lounges and a shared kitchen-diner that brings everyone together. There’s also a peaceful garden for quiet moments or enjoying the sunshine. Flanshaw has Wi-Fi throughout, making it easy for people to stay connected with loved ones, learn online, or explore new hobbies.
Located in a quiet residential area, Flanshaw is close to local shops, parks and community spaces – as well as the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Hepworth Gallery. Guided by our Strive model of support, we focus on building confidence, independence and wellbeing – helping each person flourish in a place they can truly call home.
