ivolve named Sunday Times Best Place to Work – for the second year running!

We are thrilled to share that ivolve Care & Support has been named as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2025 – for the second year in a row. Even more remarkably, we are the only adult social care provider in the prestigious Very Big Company category to receive this recognition.

This award celebrates the inclusive, supportive and empowering workplace we’re building at ivolve – one where colleagues feel proud to work, supported to grow, and inspired to make a difference every day.

It’s more than a badge of honour – it’s a reflection of something we build together, every day. A workplace where people feel valued. A culture where colleagues are empowered to grow and thrive. And an environment that helps us deliver the very best outcomes.

Supporting our people – so they can support others

Across more than 185 services throughout the UK, over 4,000 ivolve colleagues provide care and support to more than 1,150 people with complex needs – including learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and autism.

Their work transforms lives. They help people live more independently, with dignity and joy, in a place they can truly call home. And behind every positive outcome is a dedicated, compassionate colleague – supported by an organisation that truly cares about their experience.

This isn’t about an award – it’s about our people. They give so much to the people we support, and we are determined to keep giving back to them in every way we can.”

Tim Davies, ivolve CEO

Tim Davies, ivolve CEO, says: “Being recognised again as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work is something we are incredibly proud of. But this isn’t about an award – it’s about our people. They give so much to the people we support, and we are determined to keep giving back to them in every way we can.”

Building The Best Place to Work

Creating a great place to work doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when you listen, invest, and care – just as much about your colleagues as you do about your business.

At ivolve, we’ve built an open listening culture where every voice matters – through our Connect platform, Your Say colleague forums, and Wellbeing Champions in every service. Our recent Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) of 29 shows we are making progress – and listening matters.

We offer a wide-ranging reward and recognition package that celebrates the contribution of our teams – including birthday leave, long-service celebrations, Colleague Lotto, Values Scratchcards, refer-a-friend rewards, and our new ivolve extras platform, which brings leading discounts, wellbeing resources, and peer recognition to colleagues’ fingertips.

Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2024 and 2025 - ivolve care and support

We invest in our people’s growth through tailored learning journeys and leadership and skills training via our ivolve Academies – helping colleagues build fulfilling, long-term careers in adult social care.

All of this is underpinned by a strong commitment to workplace wellbeing – with free, confidential Employee Assistance Programme support, practical wellbeing tools, and local Wellbeing Champions offering day-to-day guidance.

Together, these efforts help us build a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and proud of the difference they make. This is what makes ivolve not just a great place to work – but a place where people can truly build a career in care to make a difference.

Always moving forward

While we are incredibly proud to be recognised again as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work, we know that great workplace culture is always evolving.

That’s why we are already working on what comes next:

Expanding Your Say forums to give colleagues more influence over ivolve’s future
Increasing opportunities for co-production with the people we support – so their voices shape everything we do
Further developing our reward and recognition offer based on feedback
Launching new colleague-led working groups for LGBTQI+, Inclusion, Families and more – ensuring every voice is heard and every experience valued.

Above all, we will keep listening, learning, and growing. That’s how we’ll continue to build an amazing place to work, and an amazing place to live for the people we support. Because when our colleagues feel their best, they can give their best – helping us achieve incredible outcomes for the people we support.
